“	The criticism that Mother Teresa faced, especially in non-Christian countries, was that the ultimate goal of her work was to proselytize. The Hindu priests at a Kali temple were unhappy when Mother and the Sisters began their work at Nirmal Hriday in Kalighat close to the temple. Then something happened that brought about a complete change of heart. Mother heard that one of the priests of the temple was dying of an infectious disease and nobody would touch him. She collected his emaciated body in her arms and brought him to her home. The local people asked her to stay. A Hindu priest of the temple said to her with folded hands, "for thirty years I have worshipped the goddess Kali in stone, but today the goddess Mother stands before me alive.	”

I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience? I try to give to the poor people for love what the rich could get for money. No, I wouldn't touch a leper for a thousand pounds; yet I willingly cure him for the love of God.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness

for his name's sake.

Even though I walk

through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me:

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

 

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

 

I went past the field of the sluggard,

past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment,

thorns had come up everywhere,

the ground was covered with weeds,

and the stone wall was in ruins.

I applied my heart to what I observed

and learned a lesson from what I saw:

A little sleep, a little slumber,

a little folding of the hands to rest--

and poverty will come on you like a bandit

and scarcity like an armed man.

 

 

 

 Haughty eyes and a proud heart,

the lamp of the wicked , are sin!

 

The plans of the diligent lead to profit

as surely as haste leads to poverty.

 

A fortune made by a lying tongue

is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.

 

He who guards his mouth and his tongue

keeps himself from calamity.

 

The proud and arroghant man--"Mocker" is his name;

he behaves with overweening pride.

 

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan

that can succeed against the LORD.

 

The horse is made ready for the day of battle,

but victory rests with the LORD.

What a man desires is unfailing love;

better to be poor than a liar.

 

A man' s wisdom gives him patience;

it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

 

The sluggard buries his hand in the dish;

he will not even bring it back to his mouth.

 

It is to a man's honor to avoid strife,

but every fool is quick to quarrel.

 

Differing weights and differing measures-

the LORD detests them both.

 

Do not love sleep or you will grow poor;

stay awake and you will have food to spare.

 

A gossip betrays a confidence;

so avoid a man who talks too much.

 

Do not say," Ill pay you back for this wrong!"

Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.

 

A man's steps are directed by the LORD.

How then can anyone understand his own way?

 

从小生活在一个感受不到爱的家庭

一直过得很辛苦

没有爱的世界是难以想象的

放弃了爱的能力 更是悲哀

 

直到有一天

我看到了这样的一段箴言

 

爱是恒久忍耐, 又有恩慈; 爱是不嫉妒;爱是不自夸, 不张狂,

不作害羞的事, 不求自己的益处, 不轻易发怒, 不计算人的恶,

不喜欢不义, 只喜欢真理;

凡事包容, 凡事相信,凡事盼望,凡事忍耐.

爱是永不止息.

 

不知道为什么

眼泪止不住的流

冰冷的心

再次有了感动

 

感动之余 更是惭愧

自己何时做到过其中任何一条

 

 

总觉得自己是个原则性很强的人

却发现

自己的原则有时相当模糊

模糊到忘记

 

曾经最深恶痛绝的事

突然间却发现自己做了

心里好后悔

难受........

 

坚决杜绝同样的事发生

否则睡觉都不会安稳
